An Unexpected Start
Our U-Pik farm had an unexpected start in the late 90s, with Charlie playing a crucial role in the day-to-day farming operations. One summer, we had an abundance of tomatoes in our field and, unable to pick them all ourselves, we placed an ad in the local newspaper offering "Pick Your Own Tomatoes $5 bucket." The public response was overwhelmingly positive, marking the beginning of a new chapter for our farm. From then on, Charlie managed the U-Pik farm every summer hence the name "Charlie's U-PIk." You would usually find him with the brightest smile on his face and a cup of coffee in his hand. He had a way of making everyone feel like a friend, even if they had arrived as strangers.
Charlie was actively invovlevd in the U-Pik until he passed away in 2018. Despite his absence, we continue to operate our U-Pik farm with the same passion and dedication as Charlie.
Fresh Quality Produce
Our aim is to consistently offer high-quality, fresh produce every year. We prioritize providing safe produce for our local community, ensuring you know exactly where your food comes from.

A Family Affair
Charlie's legacy lives on through his kids, grandkids and great grand kids who currently manage the farm. Our goal is to uphold the values of integrity and kindness that honor our family's farming heritage while creating a welcoming and family-friendly environment for all.
Whether you're a first-time visitor or a longtime friend of the farm, we want you to feel like part of our extended family at Charlie's U-Pik.
